Dec 1, 2022 · Try searching on the AOD270 model name instead of Aspire One D270. I believe Windows 7 32bit are the only drivers available for that old of model though. I'll ask the moderators to move the thread of a legacy laptop section.

If it still works fine except for the slowness, I'd advise staying with Win7 starter. Win10 will likely be slower, not to mention probable driver issues.

I could be wrong, but it seems there are only 32 bit drivers for the GPU in this system, so getting 64 bit Windows to work would be an absolute pain. You would probably be forced onto the "Standard VGA" driver which means no hardware acceleration. Everything would be done by the CPU which is already extremely slow. I think it uses Intel GMA 500.
